      AWH and Tech Elevator invite you to the second data workshop of our 2018 series, Data Culture to Competency & Capability. In the first workshop, our speakers discussed how to create a data-driven culture. In this session, we will cover the process and tools to establishing data competency.

      Lunch and beverages will be provided. There is plenty of free parking at the Rev1 Building.

      Speaker Biographies:

      Chris Slee, Founder and Chief Product Officer, AWH

      Chris is the founder, principal and Chief Product Officer of AWH, a Dublin, Ohio software engineering firm currently celebrating its 23rd year of creating great digital products for business clients. At AWH, Chris leads internal and external development teams across all applications, from web, mobile, and desktop platforms, to virtual reality and machine learning.

      Katie Sasso, Data Scientist, Columbus Collaboratory

      Katie received her Ph.D. in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2017. During her Ph.D. program, Katie worked with the Nationwide Center for Advanced Customer Insights (NCACI) to use her research and statistics skills to answer strategic questions within Nationwide Insurance by providing data-driven insights. Since that time, she has been applying her training in statistics and experimental design to a broad range of problems across the many different industries represented by the Columbus Collaboratory's member companies.

      Mike Hughes, Founding Systems Engineer, Snowflake Computing

      Mike Hughes is a founding systems engineer in Central US for Snowflake Computing. Before joining Snowflake, Mike served as an enterprise cloud architect and principal systems engineer at Oracle. Prior to his tenure at Oracle, Mike looked after the enterprise data warehouse at Allstate Insurance. When he is not blowing peoples minds thousands of queries at a time, Mike can be found in the kitchen where he is a celebrated home gourmand and epicurean.
