      The Palace Theatre is the central art-house on Columbus, Ohio's theatre scene. Originally a movie palace, the theater was constructed in 1926 as part of LeVeque Tower.       The Palace Theatre opened its doors in 1926 and featured silent features in conjunction with a full live orchestra. In 1929, the Palace was renamed the RKO Palace and it was converted into a venue for traveling Broadway shows. Since 1989, the Palace Theatre has been home to Columbus Symphony Orchestra, the Jazz Arts Group, and traveling Broadway.
