FSWCD Viewing of CWP Webcast #1: Nutrient Trading

Come join us in our office as we view this webcast, hosted by the Center for Watershed Protection.  Registration is free and a pizza lunch included thanks to our sponsor, StormwaterInspect. Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and other resources approximately 1 week after the event. Webcast Description: Nutrient trading is a tool that offers both risks and opportunities for meeting Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs), the pollution limits established in certain waterways. Trading allows dischargers that have exceeded their nutrient discharge reduction goals to sell their excess reductions as credits to other dischargers. Some states have established nutrient trading or offset programs, with varying degrees of participation. In this webcast, we will look at the increasing exploration of nutrient trading, review case studies of trading programs, and discuss the future of nutrient trading in meeting pollution reduction regulations. Not in the Central Ohio area?  No problem!  Two additional free viewing locations are available or you can purchase the webcasts directly through and view them remotely.Southwest Ohio Location: Butler County Storm Water District / Butler County Engineers OfficeRegister for this location by emailing Bob Lentz or calling (513) 785-4101 Northeast Ohio Location: Ohio EPA (Northeast Ohio Stormwater Training Council)Register for this location on Eventbrite
